Post subject:  Replace gnome-terminal with xterm

It appears that the current gnome-terminal interface we have been using to run the courseware is inconsistent. So, to fix the problem, we will switch to xterm. Follow these steps:
  1. Log into the Mumpster VM
  2. First, right click on the CBI icon (apple) and Move to Trash.
  3. Next, right click on the Desktop and execute the Create Launcher … command.
  4. In the Name field, enter: CBI.
  5. In the command field, enter: xterm -bc -kt vt220 -ti vt220
  6. Click on the icon button.
  7. Click on pixmaps and select apple-red.png – click on Open.
  8. Click on the 'OK' button.
  9. To start the CBI's will take a couple more steps than previously since xterm is not the default.
  10. . Double click on the CBI icon.
  11. Next, you should enlarge the window since it is very small. To do that, place the mouse over the xterm window. Hold down the Ctrl key and at the same time, hold down the right button on your mouse. (they must both be depressed at the same time). Drag down to 'Huge' and let go of the mouse button and Ctrl key. The window should enlarge.
  12. . Now enter the following command: esiobjects -di
  13. This will brind up the GTM> prompt.
  14. Now enter, D ^VESCMD
  15. You should be at the login screen for the courseware.

If you shut down the CBI window, you will have to perform steps 10 – 14 to bring it up.
