For posting guides about various MUMPS-related tasks, such as the ones I've recently posted in the general discussion board about setting up GT.M on OpenVMS.

Perhaps having something like this would inspire other "words" people to contribute some distillations of their experience?

A bit like the Linux HOWTO documents...

Just my two cents...

I agree. Maybe I'm wrong but wouldn't the MUMPS Wiki at http://www.mumps.org be a good place for this kind of information? Currently, however, it takes you to the VistA wiki.

Using the Vistapedia wiki would be fine, except they don't seem to allow public write access to the wiki... might be better to have something separate from WorldVistA, anyway...

Yes, that was what I was suggesting. A MUMPS Wiki that can be used exclusively as a MUMPS knowledge base.

I have registered the "mumpsipedia.org" domain for this, and am in the process of setting up a MediaWiki site for it. Stay tuned!
