I was asked to join this motley crew to add what I can where I could. I have not worked in MUMPS since my company (Healthcare Informatics Technology Services, Inc.) went bankrupt in 2006. Now I am working in network services for the State of Alaska. Always knew those bits and bites got from here to there somehow, now I am finding out how.

I have been working in IT since 1970, and I worked in healthcare informatics from 1986 to 2006, so I have had some experience. I began working in MUMPS in 1992. My degree is in Information Systems Security, so I am now mainly focusing on secure communications and HIPAA compliance in healthcare informatics.

Welcome Rodney!

I'm intrigued by your thoughts about software life-cycle management for M-based systems.
Perhaps you can start a thread and we can discuss there.
