Post subject:  Introduction - L. Russell

I am new kinda sorta to MUMPS. I had FileMan training in 1988 and was an ADPAC, trainer and of late an IT Specialist. I have taken some online MUMPS training and have been working with a tool where I build templates and Clinical Reminders. I am very good at the inquiry part of FileMan and can run some simple routines however I have a new job that will require me to use MUMPS extensively. Is there any place out there that offers instructor led training? Is this the same MUG group that was alive in the 1980s. If so I used to be a member and it was a great resource. So I am here begging for any cheat sheets or any thing that anyone is willing to share.

Thanks

Welcome!

I'm conducting a self-paced/instructor lead introduction to MUMPS on this site. If interested, go to the MUMPS Programming I forum and start with the Welcome message. Follow the instructions. You can ask questions at any time and I will do my best to answer them.
