Experis (formerly COMSYS) has one remainig opening for a MUMPS DEVELOPER to work on developing the Medical International Classification of Diseases 10th Edition (ICD-10) implementation. This is a telecommute opportunity!

The requirements and design phase of the project is nearly complete. The development phase has begun and will continue for the next year. There is an additional option year to extend and it is government mandated that this conversion be completed by October 2014.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 or more years experience in M (MUMPS) programming, including recent experience
• Ability to perform Unit testing of code
• Must have experience working in a structured environment

DESIRED SKILLS / PLUSES:

• Knowledge of Fileman and other similar software development tools
• Experience programming in high-volume transaction based environments
• Knowledge of Health Level Seven (HL7) messaging protocol
• Experience using Cache
• Healthcare IT background

This positions will allow for remote work provided selected candidate has the ability to work from a home office.

As this contract is with the US government, only US Citizens are viable candidates for employment.
