Post subject:  Reference Standard M

When I took over development and maintenance of MUMPS V1 from Ray Newman in 2020, I renamed the implementation Reference Standard M (RSM). Part of the motivation for that was to have an executable name (rsm) that wasn't used by other software packages. But the biggest reason was that MV1 was slated to be the reference implementation for the MDC, and my plans for RSM are to continue down the same path.

I have made many significant improvements to RSM, and continue to work on it. Though finishing the features from the X11.1-1995 standard, and any future standards work with the MDC is the primary goal of RSM, I also plan to continue making improvements to it as a viable M implementation, which can be used in small to medium production environments. Many things are on the RSM roadmap, and it is a lot of fun to develop, so I'm not likely to stop anytime soon. Thank you.
