UC-Davis MUMPS version 5.23 (single user)
Download from http://207.192.157.194/mdc/UCD_5_23.zip
For more versions and documentation, see ftp://take.cs.ucdavis.edu/MicroMDist.
Versions for CP/M are available at http://www.retroarchive.org which has source in 8080 code for version 2.62, and compiled versions of 2.x and 4.x.

This is a class project lead by Dr. Richard Walters. It ran on MS-DOS and was available from University of California at Davis for a nominal fee. It was mostly experimental, but amazingly small. Small enough to run on one of the old luggable Osborne computers with only two floppy drives. We are not sure it is still available, but it is certainly worth mentioning.

Well I just pulled a 3.5" floppy out with UCD MicroMumps 5.2 on it - all 63 kbytes of the interpreter, plus the .exe routines that set up its environment. I think that it was always a free item, at least Dick Walters always gave me the latest version for nothing.
I first ran MicroMumps on a Heathkit H8 with a Z80 processor, 64k of RAM and two 5 1/4" floppy drives under CP/M. Not only could its tiny footprint fit on that machine, but so did Fileman 17. It made it possible for me to set up a clinic registration and scheduling system for the UC Davis Family Medicine residency program that were then ported right over to ISM on the clinic's DEC LSI-11/23. Amazing what we could do with so little!

Hi everyone,

I am (desperately) looking for the Micromumps version 4.06 for CP/M (or maybe a later version, but for CP/M) ... I have found a version online but it is broken. In fact I need the SETGLOB.COM, SETMUMPS.COM and ERRORS.DAT mainly.
I am not sure if anyone will read this, but if anyone can help I would be grateful.

Thanks a lot,
Marcelo.

I think the MicroMUMPS can be downloaded from http://71.174.62.16/MDC/UCD_5_23.zip
I just used that link, and got a valid file.

Dave
