Hi All,

New to this site today, pretty cool! I was in the old MUG years ago. Been coding Mumps(M) for years with multiple companies.

I need some help on how I can determine what the time zone is, including ST (Standard Time) and DT (Daylight Time), e.g., EST or EDT. For example, I want to display the date & time like this:
Format: YYYY[MM[DD[HH[MM[SS[.S[S[S[S]]]]]]]]][+/-ZZZZ]
where +/-ZZZZ is what I need and not able to figure out.
My system is in the Eastern time zone, so I know it needs to be -0400 (EDT) or -0500 (EST), but none of our date functions or utilities figure out the time zone.

I am running Mumps on a DSM for OpenVMS VAX Version 7.0 with no Cache installed.

Thanks,

JD
